RRSC Recruiting: Performance Squad Coach

Rushmoor Royals Swimming Club are seeking a new performance coach to work within our current coaching team and lead our Age Group Performance squad.

About Rushmoor Royals:
Rushmoor Royals Swimming Club is affiliated to the Swim England South East Region and the leading club in North Hampshire. We utilise pools in Aldershot, Camberley, Eversley and Farnborough including a 50m pool. Our swimmers have competed regularly at every level from County to International level and the club caters for all ages and ability of swimmers.

About the role:
The Age Group Performance squad caters for swimmers aged 11 to 14 years old swimming at a minimum of County level up working towards a Regional/National level. This is the beginning of our performance structure in the club and a vital part of the swimmers development. The successful coach will also assist with various other squads within the club, including our Senior Performance squad as well as our Junior squads.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Produce regular session plans for the squad in accordance with the squads annual plan
• Lead the squad at relevant competitions throughout the season
• Liaise with parents/guardians regularly
• Work closely with the rest of the coaching team to further develop the club and themselves
• Swim England Level 2 Coaching Qualification & clear DBS check (carried out by the club)
• Have a willingness to improve and develop their coaching
• Well organised, great communicator and team player
• Passionate about developing swimmers as people as well as athletes, enabling them to reach their full potential in the sport
• Current and valid UK Driving License
